Hello My Dear Deviant Friends,

Ah long time no see. I haven't been on in a few years, my apologies! But sometimes we all need to take a break and regroup ourselves. Then, we can jump back in the game, refreshed and ready to play. Right?

I am pleased to say that I am going on a once in a lifetime trip to Japan!!! I am going to use this opportunity to take a lot of photos, eat as much of the wonderful cuisine as I can, and soak up the sheer wonder of the beauty and culture of Japan. I plan on posting my artistic photos, and making a lot of art based on my experiences there. 

I cannot help but think of Lara Croft's trip to Japan in TR Legends. Although I won't be doing anything that daring, lol, it will be an Artistic Adventure!!!!!

Art is a lifelong journey of self-discovery.

Art teaches you to love yourself and be patient with yourself. It teaches you that imperfections can be beautiful, and that with every piece, you improve. It also teaches you that you are the only artist in the world who can create exactly like you. Your heart and soul and mind come through in every piece...uniquely, beautifully yours. The person who said, "Where ever you go, there you are" must have been an artist, too. For no matter how skilled you become, no matter the medium or techniques employed, there will always be that magical, one of a kind style that is yours and yours alone. (Even if you are trying to emulate someone else!)

Art can show you your flaws, your shortcomings, and sometimes even feel as if it is taunting you. It can also be your best friend, your passionate lover, your greatest comforter. Art can be many things, but it will always be there waiting for you no matter what else is happening in your life.

Dive into the ocean that is art. Swim in it. Immerse yourself completely. Let its waves wash over you, and in the greatest of moments, become one with its turbulent flood. Then, watch where it takes you. It will fill you with satisfaction and gladness.

I just want to make beautiful things, even if nobody cares!

I am having a major problem! I can't see my art on DA to see if I successfully downloaded it! I am trying to add new artworks but on my screen it looks totally blank. Can someone tell me if they can see it?

Hello dear friends, I know it has been awhile since I've posted much artwork, particularly my colored pencil works of Tomb Raider. But don't worry, I am working on a couple at the moment and I am so excited to share them with you! I love you all, thank you so much for your support AND I want to thank you all for over 10,000 page views! I am deeply honored and will continue to strive to create drawings for you to the very best of my ability.
